First conversation
A first chat gets rid of most of the guesswork, what the project needs, what's realistic, whether we're a good fit. It usually shapes how smoothly everything that follows will go.
Scope & quote
Once the brief is clear, it gets broken down into concrete steps with a rough timeline and a quote attached. Everything moves forward once that's agreed on.
Research first
Any reference material helps here, the earlier the better. Every project starts with some digging into the industry and the competition, so the design ends up making sense, not just looking good.
Design
Research turns into something visual: a direction first, then rounds of refinement until it holds up. For a brand, that might mean mockups and supporting graphics; for a website, it might start with layout and mood.
Production
Getting something printed well takes experience, paper choice, finishing, colour accuracy under different conditions. If a client doesn't already have a print partner, a reliable one can usually be recommended.
Handover, yay!
The project wraps with a full set of finished files, print-ready where needed. For brand work, that often comes with a style guide covering how to use everything correctly going forward.
