Korkevi Dutch
Branding, Editorial, Digital
Korkevi is an online Dutch tutoring service run by Kevin, a native Belgian speaker. The brand gave the positioning sharper focus: aimed at Taiwanese adults who need Dutch for a real purpose, not just as a hobby. The tagline "Dutch you'll actually speak" ("Nederlands dat je écht spreekt") runs through the whole system. At its centre is a speech bubble filled with real, levelled Dutch phrases that trace a learner's journey from a first greeting to speaking with confidence.
The overall tone reads as a friend guiding you through the language, not an administrative teaching institution. Because the text inside the bubble is editable, one graphic device covers every course level and context, applied across course cards, enrolment banners, certificates and social posts, speaking to very different audiences while keeping one clear identity.

The speech bubble device is filled with conversations pitched at different Dutch levels, used across social media cards and teaching materials. Swapping the phrase inside becomes a simple way to guide different audiences toward the course that actually fits them.
Certificates and course materials follow a typographic and colour approach that stays precise without turning preachy or rigid. The aim was a modern, approachable feel for language learning, closer to a friendly tutor than the cram-school look common across East Asia.
The website was built around guiding different types of students, at different levels, toward signing up. Across every touchpoint, the brand holds onto that same conversational feel, letting Dutch settle into a Taiwanese learner's life in Belgium or the Netherlands, easy to pick up, but built to actually stick.
